How severe will this year's storms be? Whose name will be in the headlines? We has summarized it all! Both real data from NOAA & CSU and funny facts that you should know if youdon't know!
Hurricane season 2025 has begun! (June 1 - Nov 30)
This year, they say the storms will be "stronger" than usual because the seawater is as hot asFlorida people when they encounter the sun during the day.
Summary from the 2 major agencies NOAA & CSU:
• Named Storms:
NOAA says 13–19 / CSU says 17
• Hurricanes (74+ mph):
NOAA says 6–10 / CSU says 9
• Major Hurricanes (Cat 3+):
NOAA says 3–5 / CSU says 4
📍Summary: This year's storms are definitely more active than usual~
Like a naughty child after the end of winter, they will climb every tree intheir way!
Will Florida be hit?
This answers NOAA’s question… there’s a high chance!
Because Florida is in the “most popular storm path” that, when the timecomes, often turns to visit without asking permission.
Let's take a look at the list of storms in 2025!
Who's coming? Who's not coming? But the names are ready:
Andrea
Barry
Chantal
Dexter
Erin
Fernand
Gabrielle
Humberto
Imelda
Jerry
Karen
Lorenzo
Melissa
Nestor

Pablo
Rebekah

Did you know? Storm names are chosen 6 years in advance!
Used in a loop (unless someone is too cruel to forgive, then the name willbe permanently removed!)
If there are more than 21 storms in a single year, the “reserve” list willbe used!
